I tried it a while ago and it hurt! But it may have been change since. I used Nair for bikini line last time and I was amazed it worked great! Go to their web site they were giving away free samples. If you are prone to the red bumps put neosporin ointment on after and believe it or not it prevents them.

ive heard it wrks really well ive thought of buying it i just havent really figured out how to ask my parents to go buy me a waxing kit for my bikini area yet lol.....if u have a good idea let me know!!

My grandmother used strips of old sheets, with pins. They had a boiler in the house which was used to incinerate them. My mother used a belt & bought pads with loops which attached to it. Sponges, moss, wool, any absorbent materials, were all used in early & rural societies. AFAIK, ancient Egyptians used papyrus tampons.
