YES.
HE SHOULD HAVE RETIRED 5 YEARS BACK.
IF HAPPENED, HE MIGHT NOT HAD SOME FIRST ROUND DEFEATS FROM VERY LOW RANKED PLAYERS.

Andre is retiring at the end of his US Open tournament this year. He will be missed. Watching a night match with him playing is the best thing that goes on during the whole tournament, If the quest is should he have retired earlier the answer is in my opinion is NO. He still made the finals of the Open losing to Fed. He spaces his tournaments now so he is strong enough you compete credibly enough at the tournaments he enters. Not to mention there have been several times when we thought he was done and he has come back from nothing to win majors. He Will be retired soon enough and it will be a hit to the game. Head racquet's are ready to shoot themselves, fans who never saw his return of serve have missed out. The good news is in about 15 years there will be another Agassi walking out onto the court to play. We have that to look forward to.

Agassi is actually a great tennis player! Nadal was my 2nd favorite but I got sad when I heard Agassi got beaten, and that was his last US Open! I think he's retiring this year, which I find real suprising! Like Sampras' retire.
NO WAY! He shouldn't retire earlier and he shouldn't retire now.

I think his timing is appropriate, and he picked the right venue - Flushing Meadows....hopefully, he can at least be a factor int his year's Open.
How much earlier should he have retired? He took a set from Federer last year in the US Open Finals! He also played well at Wimbledon this year before bowing out to Nadal. No, I think Agassi timed it almost perfectly, about as well as he usually times his serve returns!

Hell no- guy's been in the top ten and a grand slam contender all along. Unfortunately a recurring back injury is the only thing preventing him from continuing to play at the highest level of the game. Furthermore, he is one of the most altruistic, philanthropic players the game has ever seen. He's done more for tennis and gives back more than perhaps any other player ever has. Here's hoping A-train can make one final run at the Open this year!

While he is playing in good level and not injuries bothering him, I would say no, but I always think that you have to retire while you are good
