This is a hypothetic inquiry addressed to people who have previously supported Bush and no longer do so. I would like to know why.. If you have NEVER supported Bush, please DO NOT ANSWER this question. I only want to hear from the people who voted for Bush either in the last election or the last two elections, but would not vote for him again if he were allowed to run. Please try to give specific reasons for changing your mind.

Andy G. If you read my question carefully, I stated VERY CLEARLY at the start of it, that it was a HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION. I am well aware that Bush cannot run again. My purpose was to find out how his policies during his two administrations had an effect on those who voted for him and why they would not vote for him again if there were no two term limitations. My question to you is, Why are you afraid to let people who no longer support Mr Bush have their say. And I can point out a lot of questions that are far more pointless than this one.

I voted for him in 2000 but I didn't vote at all in 2004. I regretted the 2000 vote about three weeks after the election when Bush asked the federal courts for the injunction to stop the re-counts in Florida.

Bush's legal argument for why the re-count system in Florida was "unconstitutional" was horrible. There were and still are many Republicans who think that the "equal protection" argument was horrible. And then ultimately the Supreme Dictators granted the injunction, stopping the re-counts, and used the equal protection claim as the basis for why they granted it. It is outrageous. Unless the Republican Party can admit that it was horrible and outrageous, I can't support the party at all. And certainly not Bush.

I'm a registered Republican, and I voted for him in both '00 and '04, but in that time, he has shown that he doesn't believe in one of my core principles, which is limited government. As in reducing federal spending and waste.

The current administration and Republican delegation in Congress leaves me wondering if I'd make a better Libertarian or Constitutionalist.

I voted for him twice and would vote for him again but since you don't know the rules. He can't run in '08. By the way there should be a place on here for pointless questions like this one!

I did and this blame President Bush and conspiracy theories and hypothetical questions stuff is really getting old.

I voted for him in 2000 because I just turned 18 and my family are heavy republicans. I was doing what they told me to do, which doesn't bother me at all. I am old enough now, I feel, to understand who I would want to win and run this country, and its definitely not him.

Because the Republican Party has strayed from what they were supposed to support, namely smaller government. I have seen the light and become a Libertarian...cause right now, the Republicans ain't gettin' it.
