Only 6 countries out of 192 in the world recognise Hezbollah as terrorists. Surely the general principle of a democracy is that of majority rule.

Right, but I think Hezbollah is a fake resistance against the Zionists, and the Usa....

I' not sure they are Whites-as-snow, but I know that Zionists control Israel, and the forged this "conflict" to ground-zero Lebanon...

They are the Illuminatis, and they own you,
This is the New World Order, and it is your future if the world don't wake up :

And this is what Bush’s minions had to say in 2000;-
"Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor"
Project for the New American Century (2000)

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
Hermann Göring(Nazi) 1946 Nuremberg Trials

"We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order."
David Rockefeller: Statement to the Untied Nations Business Council in September 1994

"For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with other around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." David Rockefellers memoirs (2002)

The Hez is mainly targeting Israel. Whereas Al Queda has stated that any American, anywhere is a justifiable target. Hezbollah hasn't gone that far.
So maybe they aren't terrorist on that scale.
But they have launched thousands of rockets and only at civilian targets. A true military force wouldn't have done that. If they had better technology, there would have been thousands of dead Israeli citizens. In my book, that makes them terrorists.
If tomorrow, Israel gave back all disputed lands, released all detainees, would the fighting stop? No. Idon't think so. Iran, Syria, the Palestinians, and I have to include Hezbollah because they're controlled by Iran, will not rest until Israel is gone forever.

Israel Commit more murders than any terrorist group. They occupy lands, and still building more. They bomb civilian houses, they recently bombed an ambulance in lebanon which killed the injured they did'nt finish before. Israel is armed to the teeth by the US. From tanks to f16 u name it.

But what ever anyone tells you about terrorists just remember. When an arab retaliates because of an israeli attack they are labelled a terrorists. But when an israeli retaliates and commits the same with more deaths is called a Strategic move in self defence.

Remeber lebanon or palestine is not occupying israel. Iraq is not occupying britain or the US. Nor has Iraq ever threatened britain or US ever. Arabs and muslims are dying everyday because of the greed of a few.

So who is the real terrorists because immoral acts breed immoral behaviour. dont be fooled and brainwashed by the propaganda. Use your own intuition and dont be niaeve to believe everything u hear, because the world was safe before Bush.

Because they are hiding behind little kids as they fire rockets at other little kids who they have sworn to wipe from the face of the earth as an abomination to their god because they are infidels (ie not Islamic) they are terrorists whether various councils say so or not. If they had a uniform and fought like men rather than the cowardly scum that they are maybe they wouldnt be called terrorists.

Maybe it has to do with the fact that prior to 9/11 Hezbollah was responsible for the most attacks on Americans by a terrorist organization. That works for me. Majorities may rule, but it doesn't cancel out the truth.

Coragryph, your definition of a terrorist, i.e. commiting intentional attacks on civillian targets, that kind of covers the Israeli army/Government as well, they've been sanctioning attacks on civillian targets for over a week now.

I think you'll find there are more countries condemning that fact, than are condemning Hezbollah for it's acts of "defence" at the moment.

Admittedly though, they do (when not defending themselves and their country from foreign aggression) partake of terrorist acts, which can never be condoned.

There have been attrocities commited by both sides in this conflict, and surely everyone realises now that it is time to end it.

Well, are they out in the open and part of an organized country?

terrorist: characteristic of someone who employs terrorism (especially as a political weapon); "terrorist activity"; "terrorist state" n : a radical who employs terror as a political weapon; usually organizes with other terrorists in small cells; often uses religion as a cover for terrorist activities

ter·ror·ism The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

I believe Hezbollah meets those definitions.

because many people want to deny the fact that Hezbollah only started after the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982 to defend and free Lebanese people and land. And because people don't ever hear about all the social services that Hezbollah provided for many Lebanese families that were affected by the wars. And finally because many ppl's views on legitimate resistance are distorted. If someone invades your land, bombs your cities, and kills civilians then you start to defend yourself and your land would you consider that terrorism.

Way to go Coragryph...

Democracy rules again. Another fine example of people blinded to facts.

Unfortunately once the Hezbullies are wiped out there will be others to take their place.
