Also, good riddance to bad rubbish.

A welcome loss or departure. This expression is often used as an exclamation.

For example, The principal has finally retired, and most of the teachers are saying, "Good riddance!" or When Jean decided to give up her violin her relieved family quietly said, "Good riddance to bad rubbish.". [Late 1700s]

hey! i am totaly listening to that right now and i just saw this and was like wow coicendence...???..yeah anyway...Lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong wrote this when his girlfriend moved to Ecuador. He tried to be levelheaded about it and wrote this song when they were producing Dookie, but to show his anger, he named the song "Good Riddance" and made "Time Of Your Life" the subtitle. The song shows us about life, how we are not to question it and keep moving on. also was used on an episode of Seinfeld where they looked back at all the adventures they had on the show. It was right before the last episode aired and was the official theme for golf's PGA Tour in 1998.(I LOVE GOLF)
