Ok, I am interested once in a while of becoming President. I was wondering if people would elect me. In Iraq, I would withdraw 75% of troops in one year and the next year, Iraqi security forces would be able to take over completely if Civil War does not occur. Our troops would remain in Afghanistan, even though I don't like war. I would support a Muslim state similar to the state of Israel, one of the few ways to bring peace. I would put billions of dollars into supporting a national healthcare plan, instead of in the military or police system. I would support stem cell research, which can save millions of people's lives. I would cut whatever taxes possible. With approval of the Congress I would make treaties with nations such as Russia, which would be hard, but it could be done with some work. Also, instead of persecuting drug users, I would pour money into creating more treatment programs for them. I would punish those who knowingly employ illegal immigrants.

Sorry, but no. If you want to cut and run in Iraq before the job is done there, you would put the US in substantial danger from terrorists using Iraq as a base. Some of your other stated positions are worth approval, but Iraq is a deal-killer: remember, that your first act as President is to take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Well, I disagree with some of your platform, but it's miles better than what is coming from the Republicans and a lot better than what I hear from the Democrats. Would you be running as an independent. Under what party label? In principle I support a multi-party system, but if voting for you means that another neo-con Republican would be voted into office, my answer is NO. For instance, I liked what Ralph Nader had to say in the last election, but could not support him for the above reasons. I know. It sucks.
