Japan and the United States were in a state of war against each other. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor before they were at war. That sounds more like terrorism to me than the Nagasaki and Hiroshima bombing.

This is actually a question that can be easily dismissed, but maybe it shouldn't be. According to Websters Dictionary, Terrorism is the use of force to intimidate. This is really what the U.S. did in Japan, so it could be called terrorism. There are differences of course in the methods and objectives of various groups and countries involved in a war. All war though could be be defined as terrorism

Dropping the Atomic Bomb or fission was justified and worked. Dropping the second Bomb fusion to see if it worked may have been terrorism. In first Gulf war George Bush Sr dropped the equivalent of five atomic bombs by cruse missile. Torrorism depends if your the dropper or droppie

The fine line between the bombing and the use of the atomic bombs was that it was officially sanctioned by the government. Terrorism by definition is any unlawful use or threatened use of violence against civilians with the intention of coercing the society or government for ideological or political reasons. While it is true that we used the atomic bombs against civilians with the intention of intimidating Hirohito into surrendering, it was officially sanctioned as an act of war.

I believe it was terrorism and a very cowardly act on what the U.S. to Japan. We targeted woman and children while the brave and proud Japanese in war planes only targeted military targets! I think it was an evil choice on our presidents part to do as i call it"a war crime" and cowardly choice of action. As a U.S. citizen im not proud of it and to me, it wasn't the right choice to drop the bombs like that on innocent woman and children of Japan. The U.S. is guilty of having weapons of mass destruction.

First off, we didn't know that the Atomic bomb would have such devistating results. Well, we did... But we never imagined it to be like that. And second off, we were at war. All is fair in love and war.
