it depends if you still have your sex drive because most women lose it for a couple of weeks or months after birth

Seriously, though, as soon as you feel comfortable. Just remember to use a condom.
My hubby and I had sex 3 1/2 weeks after I had my son. I was still bleeding a little, though, and so we didn't try again until after my 6 wk follow-up.

6 weeks is sugested, but not always do you need to wait that long. just depend on the person a how they heal.

they say 6 wks but its really up to the girl,ive done it sooner than 6 wks with no problems but if its uncomfortable,wait

its best to wait at least after your 6 week checkup because you can easily get pregnant before then.
