It's the one right below the one with back, forward, stop, refresh, ect. It lets me type the internet address directly into it and also has a list of sites I frequent like yahoo.com and aol.com on a drag down menu. Anyway, it's gone and I miss it. Help! Thanks!

I tried the suggestions and it still didn't come up. All that happened was the word "address" came up in the top right corner, under my microsoft flag.

U hv two options to do this.

First, follow this path. Right click ur mouse on the empty space of ur IE toolbar> customize> make changes there as u need> close.

Second, Follow this path, View> toolbars> standard buttons.

Please follow this path.
View> Toolbars> address bar.
Please lock the toolbars also to avoid such problem in the future.

OH...to fix that just go to view at the top of the screen, then go to toolbars, and then select address bar. Don't worry, this happens to me sometimes, too.

here's what you do to get it back, right click on the gray part at the top (where the address bar usually is), and then check " address bar ".

good luck.
