I had a similar problem in my 307. FM worked when it wanted to but AM was ok. (The CD player was fine).

The Peugeot dealer didn't want to know! In the end I just bought a recon one from ebay (about £100). So long as you provide your Chassis number most sellers will code it for you.

its to do with the cross talking between the wires at the back of the radio. get them shielded in other words put a plastic sleeve over them
