I imagine that it would be more convenient, but Tuesday has been traditional for who knows how long (anybody here have a clue on why Tuesday in the first place?) and changing it would require a lot of legal tap-dancing.

Responder misslabeled is not correct about Tuesday being mandated by the Constitution: there is no reference there to any particular day or date for elections. Rather, Tuesday is set by both state and Federal statutes.

I thought I was going to say yes until I read the other answers, but now I think that if you care you will find a way to vote and changing the day won't matter to the people who don't feel like their vote matters or just don't care.

I think that Americans should NOT vote at all until a certain set of 5 Supreme Court Justices apologize for stealing a certain Presidential election.

Tuesday votes are mandated by the Constitution. Many states have early and/or absentee voting for those who find it inconvenient. There really aren't any valid excuses for not voting.

yes. But the government doesn't want that, because they couldn't handle all the people who would be at the polls. Besides, the democrats would always win the popular vote if it was on Saturday because they're the ones that don't get to vote since they're usually working during the week.

Actually Tuesdays are much more convenient. Most people are up and about, going to and from work and what not. Saturdays most people like to kick back, relax, do laundry, shopping, etc.
