I was greasing the door latch in my 1978 450 SEL and it "flipped"?

now i cant get the doors to close HELP ME PLEASE

Take a screwdriver and use it to pull the latch open, while you are also pulling the door handle.You can also use any tool that will fit instead of the screwdriver.

use a screw driver or small pry bar to open the jaws while you pull the door handle open.
