Fascism is a nationalistic movement that believes in:

1/ anti-anarchism
2/ anti-communism and
3/ anti-liberalism.
4/ corporatism

Fascist nations will wiretap citizens conversations and carefully monitor their movements.

I believe that the term is being floated to tie our distasteful experience with Nazi Germany and with the Islamic militants

The differences far outweigh the similarities

The pan-Arab movement is more theocratic than nationalistic and from the classic definition is far and away from fascist..

I see the current United States administration fits the Fascist profile exactly. This is so simple.

The term "Islamic Fascist" is a new term. While terrorist are terrorists regardless of religion Islamo Fascism means to identify a sector of terrorists. Bin Laden is in alot of ways the Islamic Mussolini. While there are not direct parallels to try Fascism the structure is similar.
I think that it is a very effective word to use. It is not all inclusive of Islam. It does not apply to every Muslim group, only the extremists.

The Reagan quote that somebody speaks of is: "it is not that our liberal associates are ignorant. it relatively is basically that they comprehend lots that may no longer so." -R. Reagan It became no longer meant as an insult. He did no longer have self belief any American would embody Socialism in the event that they actually understood what it potential. This became meant to describe why Liberals have been embracing Socialism; they believed a good number of what they have been taught and what they have been taught became basically incorrect. What Obama did became make the blunders of asserting what he relatively meant. That now infamous quote of Obama's became made to an exceptionally like-minded, Liberal purpose marketplace of supporters in San Francisco and rancid the cuff. He became concerning small city Pennsylvanians whilst he pronounced it. it incredibly is the surely quote: "And it is not incredible then that they get bitter, they draw on the fringe of weapons or faith or antipathy in the direction of people who are not like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-commerce sentiment with a view to describe their frustrations." *

Well these particular terrorists do INDEED belong to a specific religion! That doesn't mean that all followers of Islam are terrorists or that his description is fair. But their faith is in fact a major part of their involvement in terrorism. So you can not discount it either.

Oh, the neocons just like putting labels on everything to see how it plays. The term "Islamofascism" has been percolating around right-wing talk radio for years, so it was probably meant more for the crazies who listen to that than for the general public, for whom the Bushies have nothing but contempt (except around election time).

When I heard him say this phrase, I CRINGED. In the light of the current critical events, for a president of the mighty USA to articulate in such a fashion reveals so much about himself, his leadership and his intelligence - it must be so embarrassing for the US population. He sounded like an uneducated schoolkid!

I say Bush is a racist piece of sh*t. In fact, even if you just omitted the whole terrorist thing and asked me what I thought of Bush, you'd get the exact same answer. *smiles* However, that answer IS the simplified version of what I truly think of him. All the time in the world wouldn't be enough to express my rancor for that homophobic bastard.

Fascist is a genetic structure. They are everywhere as the inverse aspect of "normal" society. That is to say they practice being the opposite of that which is accepted.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Bush is not President material. He's a psychopath hiding behind Christianity to keep people believing in him.

I tend to agree. I have no problem with islam but the terrorists have hijacked the religion and twisted it into something violent which it is not.
