It is fine, those standards just reflect the approximate amounts that will be helpful for most people. It will not hurt you unless you took more than twice as much Folic acid as recommended. Most doctors recommend you take prenatal vitamins while trying to conceive because it is easier than telling you to buy individually all the things your body needs.

You will not find prenatal's that only contain 400mg. If you want to only take 400mg, then just take one pill, as the standard on prenatal's is two pills which equal 800mg. There is nothing wrong with takine 800mg before getting pregnant.

I have to take 800mg as I have a mild mutation of my enzymes which causes me to miscarry. Taking 800mg is suppose to help that situation, so taking that much is a good thing.

Keep taking the prenatal vitamins, they are excellent and I am so happy to hear that someone knows how important folic acid is. Here's some baby dust for you ~~~~ Good luck!!

No, keep taking the ones you've got. If you get too much folic acid your body just stops absorbing it and it is flushed out with waste. You can't get too much folic acid. By the way I think you mean MCG instead of MG!!!

All prenatals are with regard to an identical. Prescription, over the counter and so on. So it rather would not remember which of them you're taking. and you may change producers in case you like. there is no injury in it. that's what my notably respected intense probability medical expert instructed me whilst i replaced into pregnant with my 2nd toddler.

No. I never heard that and my OB/gyn gave me the same prenatal vitamins to take before the pregnancy and during the pregnancy for both my children. They are both fine. Don't worry!

What you are doing is fine. Don't worry about it, and good luck with everything in the future.
