Israel has waged a war in which some 1500 innocent women and Children are dead and Hesbollah fighters number 200 killed. Now Israel has been forced to see the futility of their actions, will you apologise to those of us who said that diplomacy is better than war?

dear Humanist, tell me why these guys hate Lebanon so much. Are they ignorants and believe really that Hezbollah started the war by kidnapping the two soldiers or do they try to defend themselves and their country by claiming not responsible of all these massacres. "see not truth, hear not truth, speak not truth"...

From the looks of your hysterical anti-zionist argument, it seems like you don't mind killing unborn children, but that is unrelated.

Question: Why do you put Israel, a sovern nation that doesn't try to kill civilians at a moral equivolant with Hezbollah, a rouge terrorist faction that has no qualms about blowing up busses and pizza parlors packed to the gills with such civilians?

I dont' know why, but here are some ideas:

The media is on Hezbollah's side. Now, I know that that may seem to be a rather far fetched excuse, but there are somee very interesting photos:

So, whose side is the media on, eh?

Another reason you think Israel is morally equivolent is that you are misimformed. For example, where did you get that 1500 number. at least I name my sources (as I did above). You are aslo ignorant of the fact that Hezbollah launches about an average of over 100 rockets a day at Israel:

In addition, let's compare and contrast the flags of Israel and Hezbollah:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Flag_of_Israel.svg
Now, I know that intellegence isn't your strong point, but let's see: which flag looks more threatening... ...I'm thinking... ...I'm thinking... .y'know I'm thinkin': HEZBOLLAH

How completely surprising how you utterly overlooked the millions of Jews murdered over the years. not really surprising though.
Why don't look at who started this whole conflict and blame them? nah, that'd be too consistent I know.
The terrorists you defend have murdered a lot more civilians than Israel has killed. Besides, some of these people are knowingly staying in harms way, its on their own heads, and others are being PREVENTED by hezbollah from escaping. Which makes their deaths hezbollahs responsibility not Israels. buffoon.

You are an idiot. Israel did not provoke this war. Hezbollah did. If diplomacy would have worked; Hezbollah would not have been armed and in power in Lebanon. If a foreign power or terrorist group attacked, killed and then kidnapped our soldiers that chose to hide among sympathetic civilians should we kindly try to talk to them. Liberals like you would have had us still negotiating with Japan after they bombed Pearl Harbor.

As to what is going on over there, I do not know enough about the hunderds of years of history to make an educated statement.
