The Kurdistan Workers Party (or PKK), is a terrorist group fighting for autonomy in southeastern Turkey and operating out of Iraq. But bush's war on terror does not seem to include all terrorists only those who threaten the corporate interrests of his big oil buddys.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this week Turkey was moving forward with plans to send troops into northern Iraq to attack PKK bases, but was holding back while he talks with the United States and Iraq in an attempt to defuse tensions.

Known as the PKK, this group has been fighting Turkish forces since 1984 and is considered a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union.

The PKK operates clandestine bases in the Kurdish-self ruled provinces of northern Iraq, where the US built central government authority is limited.

No I am not a turk nor am I for further escalation of violence in the middle-east. I am just aware that there is more going on in that area of the world than just what the corporate multimedias report on: ie: the shia -sunni civil war in Iraq or Israel's ongoing war against Palistine and Lebenon.

your last sentence explains the hidden truth. Unfortunately Turkey is supposed not to intend to do cross-border military operation into Iraq, that's what USA Ambassador to Republic of Turkey, Mr. Wilson said. Why? Turkey has a powerful army but the present government's policies are partly decided by other countries, especially USA. There are thousand of families whose young children were killed by Kurdish terrorists. In order to fight against terrorism, the most effective action is to destroy the source and that's why Turkey should be allowed to send troops.
Personally, I hate the word ''allowed''. Thousand of people were killed and still they are. This is the only truth. Every country has the right to defend itself. USA did, why Turkey should not ?

sure they could. however the situation is, they have been busy calling the Muslims greater often than not terrorists on the 2d. So the different considerable terrorist team would scatter the attention and make it particularly much had to hold out the question, why the U.S. and ITS western allies are basically interfering with terrorism brought about by utilising terrorists from Muslim international locations. you spot it might upward push up a query, that they do no longer look to be arranged to handle. They won´t finished heartedly help Turkey in this situation and in the event that they do it is going to likely be via fact there relatively became no different selection. The U.S. administration is on the 2d suffering in Iraq and in the States to maintain this conflict going. they have picked up on some thing that they had no clue approximately. PKK is basically a soreness interior the neck for them too yet they can't have adequate money to make the Kurds interior the north of Iraq indignant the two. One should additionally undergo in techniques that the U.S. has a different definition for terrorists. you're the two on their section or you're against them. and you're on their section in case you flow alongside with what they decide which you will do. a marginally uncomplicated thank you to deal with Turkey isn´t it?
