How about taking a hike "u" that can't spell. You are an ignorant defensive person that seems very spiteful. Do everyone a favor, and go spread your propaganda elsewere.

No one needs YOUR advice or wants it.

You are right about one thing: A few people will give the whole group a bad name. Unfortunately, those few are the ones gaining all the attention and making the rest of the world hear the word Muslim and think terrorist.

Although, I have had contact with another Muslim and all he could do was tell me my religion was wrong, the Bible isn't right and I shouldn't believe it at all. I was lead to believe that all of us have the right to chose to believe as we would like to, tell other people of your beliefs and let them make up their minds. I also did not like him telling me that I shouldn't eat certain foods(pork) since it was an unclean animal. My upbringing is different and pork is a part of my diet.

I think if you and the other Muslims that want to clear things up and show the rest of the world you are not terrorists, you need to show a different side of your religion. Figure out how to get rid of the sects and/or factions that are causing all the trouble and work toward the peace that your religion is based upon.

Then again, all religions do funny things in the name of their god.

Wow, you know, terrorist never crossed my mind until you said it. And no, just because you are Muslim, I don't think you a lesser person.
It's sad that there are people in the world that judge but I'm not one of them.
Would you judge me because of my religious beliefs, my weight, my education? I would hope not.
I'm truly sorry that so much hatred has been directed at you. It's not right and it should never happen to anyone.
Good for you for being so proud of your religion, and don't ever let anyone tell you you are wrong.
Bless you for your courage to ask this question and I hope you find some solace in some of the answers you receive.
Best wishes. Lots of love.

How does it make me feel that you are Muslim? Indifferent,I suppose, but you say we judge you according to your beliefs, don't Muslims judge Westerners for THEIR beliefs? What I cannot understand is,why do many of you condemn Westerners and our way of life and beliefs, yet most want to come and live in our countries? If you dislike our way of life, why do you want to join it?There are some amongst you that want us to change our way of life, why is that? We do not want your beliefs,so why are they trying to do that? The events of late do very little to help these issues, when on TV news night after night,we see Muslim leaders demanding one thing and another. Why are they demanding special treatment? Muslims in this country are subject to the same law of the land as all of us,but most of you are never happy with that, most think they are "exceptions to the rule",they should be informed, before Police raid a property, why? Nobody else is informed beforehand.
I agree, its not your fault that SOME jerks act wrong, you are a devout Muslim, and proud of your Religion, thats good, but unfortunately some amongst you believe it does incite hatred, hence the terrorist attacks. Its up to people like you to try to root out the terrorists within you,and inform the authorities when you get suspicions. If you truly want to live amongst us in peace and harmony, you have to show you want that.

Doesn't affect me one way or another. You are entitled to practice your religion and I'll defend to the death your right to do so. Unlike some jingoistic whack jobs, I don't view Muslims in general as terrorists or anything less than hororable people.

It's very sad when a small bunch of cretins sully the good name of the many by claiming religious grounds for simple murder and mayhem. Throughout history, men have claimed the religious right to destroy others and this isn't limited to any one religion. Christians have been as guilty of this as Muslims.

I only ask that all good Muslims loudly decry the actions of a few done in the name of Islam that insult the Prophet and ignore Allah's word. I've been told by a Muslim friend that it's not the way of the Imams to speak such things in public. Maybe now is the time to do so!

Peace to you and all good people of faith. Any faith.

Sorry, but it's hard for most people to get upset because someone is a Muslim. You could be Episcopalian and I wouldn't care either. If, however, you enjoy feeling persecuted, you can become a Moonie. Now THOSE are people most people dislike. Islam is a religion and therefore, by itself, not real problem for most Americans. It's when people use their religion as an excuse to hurt others that we get angry. So when Episcopalians start bombing the buses of Baptists Sunday school attendees, AND the Episcopalian Church encourages it, THEN I'll start disliking them. But as far as I know, the Islamic religion doesn't encourage the bombing of planes or buildings, so I don't have a problem with it.

I can really care less if you are Muslim or not. Not all Muslims are terrorists. Some people have there heads shoved to far up their butt you realize that. This can both ways. You say all Americans think Muslims are terrorists. When you say that you make it sound like all Americans judge other people. So you really shouldn't be talking.

I must confess to feeling a bit distant from you. Some of this is that I feel a distance from anyone with a devout religion. I guess it worries me that strongly held beliefs are non-negotiable.

Part of my feeling does come from fear, as a result of recent events. However I was heartened today to read that (in one person's opinion) the struggle today is not between Islam and the West, but between moderate muslims who want democracy, and fundamentalist muslims who want a caliphate, the religious state. In this struggle, I will wholeheartedly support moderate muslims.

Incidentally, I am just as concerned about fundamentalist christians. Religious fanatics are a dangerous breed.
I think that world peace will be possible only with secular states, preferably democratic, with individuals free to pursue their own choice of religion without harassment from any other groups.

P.S. Americans did elect Bush, so they do bear responsibility.
I don't think they will make the same mistake again!

As long as you are not trying to kill me because I will not ever convert to being a Muslim. Your a great person and let's hang out and try and solve the worlds problems together. It may not be your fault for those jerks. But, good people like you should then try to teach them the way of peace or bring them to justice. Just turning your heads and allowing them to run wild terrorizing the world is nearly as wrong too.

I feel pretty good. You yourself generalize when you make statements like "u people". Yes, feel free to judge America "cuz" of Bush. You will be wrong...again. When I see you standing against the "bad" Muslims, then I will judge you. Until then, I won't think about you at all. Peace.

I would have loved to end with something in Arabic but my friends only learned me swearwords,so peace
