What are good nightclubs/nightlife in Coronado/Gaslamp Dist./San Diego-- During the week?

You know back when i started Djing i was wanting to create a website showing the best clubs in America but clubs come and go so fast. I may not have a direct answer for you but i do have some recommended to me as former SD resident and places you can go to find out more.

Stingaree if you're into hip-hop.454 6th ave call 619-544-9500 http://www.stingsandiego.com/ . If you really want upscale go over to LaJolla where SD's upscale set hang remember though most upscale places don't play hip-hop but jazz maybe chillout.

I also STRONGLY recommend Onyx. One of the best clubs in southern California.http://www.onyxroom.com/ open everyday i believe. Sept 1 House music mastermind DJ Kaskade will be there. Om Records and they're having a BIG party Sept.3rd.

For other hip-hopclubs in SD check out Rox, Heat and Deco's...you may also want to get advice from http://www.djforums.com or other websites frequented by DJ's and clubkids, jetsetters and party people such as the world's best party site http://www.ministryofsound.com mostly European clubs though on MOS' site but if you plan to travel to the party capital of the universe Ibiza, Spain MOS has a club there. (the world's largest dance club is located on Ibiza.)

Try PB Bar & grill more towards mission beach.
oh and my fav is O'Hungrys in Old town no top 40 but they serve yards of beer and have an awesome guy playing the gutar. They often do singalongs. The most fun I have ever had in a bar/nightclub!

Moose's is good, but try "Ole Madrid". Heart of the Gaslamp...."Ole Madrid" is SPanish food downstairs and Hip Hip/Top 40 upstairs...lots of fun...they are both in the heart of the GASLAMP
