Typically morning sickness starts within the 6th week of pregnancy. It can start earlier or later, as every woman/pregnancy is different. Some women don't even have any at all. Morning sickness, can be at any time of day...not strickly mornings. For me it started about 5.5 weeks. I am entering week 7, and still very nauseated. Morning sickness usually tends to lessen or completely disappear by 12 weeks, or sometime within the second trimester. It is not uncommon for women to be sick throughout the entire pregnancy. There are a variety of things that you can do to ease morning sickness, like eating small meals, nibbling crackers, drinking ginger ale, sour candies, etc... Just remember to stay hydrated, and eat only what you can handle. Don't forget your prenatal vitamins! If you get to where you are experiencing lots of vomiting, can't keep anything down, are feeling weak, or dehydrated...CALL YOUR OB/GYN!

It depends on the woman and everyone is different. Some don't get it at all. Some get it from even before they find out they're pregnant. Some don't get it until they are 7 or 8 weeks or even later. Its really hard to predict.
I was feeling slightly queasy a few days before I found out I was pregnant but the really nasty all-day type nausea started about a week after I got the positive pregnancy test (about 5 weeks). It didn't really let up until about 13 or 14 weeks. I'm 23 weeks now and still get attacks of nause but its not the all-day type that I had earlier on (thank God!)
I am more prone to nausea than some people as I have a phobia of vomiting and tend to get worked up about and be quite sensitive to stomach discomfort so perhaps I noticed it more than another woman would.
My mum had two kids and had no nausea with either of us!
Its so hard to predict, it just seems to affect everyone differently.

i had it from week 3 till the third month, its pretty tough, crackers are really good for it if you are suffering, and avoid wearing any perfumes or cooking stong smelling foods too, they were my worst triggers. I feel so bad for you if you are suffering from it, it is not pleasant, and sometimes you can have it the whole way through. Some women dont get it at all though, so good luck!

Normally it goes away after the first 12 weeks but it can last through the whole pregnancy. If it bothers you that much talk to your Dr about options to help cope with it.

there is no time specified for it, can start at any time. it gets really bothering when converts to hyperemesis gravidarum which might lead you to be hospitalized but could be battled at early stages by following a healthy routine, there are supplements as well which can help fighting it, "no to morning sickness tea" of secrets of tea is a great blend which I had used for myself, its organic and really effective.
