No one really knows. All we know is that it's not a choice to have same sex feelings. You could argue they are not "gay" unless they act on them however. But is it really gross just because you aren't attracted to the same sex? That would be like someone who is "gay" saying it is very gross for two people of the opposite sex to be kissing on the lips or holding hands. Basically that is just your opinion. It is gross to you but a lot of other people don't find it gross. I agree with you though, two girls kissing or holding hands is very disgusting (in my opinion) and it's refreshing to hear a straight guy saying so. I also think people shouldn't flaunt their sexual preference in public no matter who they are and straights are VERY guilty of that! "Gays" tend to hide their sexual preferences in public because it is a lot less socially accepted. So you really don't have to worry about seeing it, the chances are very low and even if you did you can always just look away.

Sweetie, before you ask any questions, you really need to learn how to use correct grammar, and spell check. I think what you are trying to ask is:

"Why are there gay and lesbian people in the world?"

Next time you try to put down a whole group of people, use spell check beforehand. Or just finish getting an education!

By the way, gay and lesbian people exist for the same reason that straight people exist: Because they just do and they always will, so get over yourself. If you don't like seeing two people of the same sex kiss and hold hands, then change locations.

Some people say that homosexuality is mother nature's way to slow population growth. I belive people are born a certain way. They're either sexually liberated or opresseed. If you're liberated, then you realize that sexual pleasure can come from either sex. BUT at the end of the day, you realize that you have a preference of what kind of person you're attracted to (tall/short, tan, emo, gangsta, cowboy, blonde, surfers, smart, or whatever). Some peoples preference is the same sex. The only thing they can do about that is accept or suppress it.

OK, how is watching gays kissing each other in public or holding hands with each other any more disgusting than watching straight couples doing any of that in public? Actually I've found that gays tend to do it a LOT less than straight people do it... and they don't seem to make such a nasty display of it like straight people do.

There have always been gays and lesbians. There always will be. Whatever someone does, there will be someone else there that is offended, or thinks it's gross, and that's ok too. If you don't like something, just don't do it, but as long as it isn't harming someone else, just walk away. Would you enjoy people laughing at you or making fun of you for, say, liking catsup on your french fries? Being Gay to them is just as natural and normal as anything you enjoy is for you.

How do you think we feel about watching you swapping spit in public? It has nothing to do with sexual orientation, it has a lot to do with what is acceptable in public. Holding hands is perfectly acceptable, as it brief kissing. I'm thoroughly offended, however, at watching a hetero couple trying to climb down each other's throats with their tongues in a public place. That kind of behavior is private.

Here's a few interesting articles for you to read. They will give you some insight, and show you it's nature, not nurture, that causes homosexuality. They are simply born that way. Science hasn't quite figured out why, but they have figured out it's an inborn thing.

Tom, tom, tom...

You are grossed out seeing 2 females kissing!!! Are you sure you're straight. Gawd, I know for a fact that straight guys like it when 2 females are making out.

Anyhow, to answer your question. To balance the equilibrium of the world. Think about it, the world is such a huge place for straight guys and straight females. God created gays and lesbians like angels who are especial and unique!!!

Love you like a coldsore!
