my sis was terrified of catweazle, so i told her he lived behind the wardrobe. yes im so cruel she was scared of spiders also, so i would wake her up to tell her i thought there was one in her bed!!!!!!!!

My grandad liked this programme I thought he was creepy and as pointed out it was Geoffrey Bayldon who played him not John Petwee who played worzel gummidge
he was an 11th century wizard who gets stranded in our time
itv 1970-71
he had a toad called touchwood and called electricity electrickery
he did get back to his own time but returned seeking the 13th sign of the Zodiac which he found and then he left for good

It wasnt John Pertwee, cant remember the name of the guy though, but I remember the toad he had or was it a frog, was a great character a bit mad if i remember, was on a sunday afternoon i think.
