My partner starts his grouse shooting season on the 11th August. He will point out, "If you wait until the glorious12th, by 3pm there's not a live grouse left on the moor and we'd all starve". Being an iconoclast was that which first drew me to him but as I hung his bag, I did worry slightly that we'll be dining a day earlier than most people.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but I love the way you write. What does "hung his bag mean?" It sounds nasty.

I could tell you this, I am a guy and hate the thought of hunting.
I know thats how they use to do it. But I still think that in this day and age, it takes a certain kinda of guy to blast holes in animals.
I guess I have never been that hungary before to do something like that. Some guys just like to blow things up. These are usually the guys with huge pickup truck with big fat tires and a gun rack.
A tool chest in the back, even though they arent a construction worker. Your partner, boyfriend, er, father of your child, usually fit the appearance of someone thats somewhat stocky, with short or a bald head and a gootee. Trust me, Ive seen these kinda of guys. My suggestion is to run away, run fast as you can!!

Yes, you are such a silly goose as the glorious 12th didn't have the shooters much to offer this year I'm afraid, so he probably wouldn't have benefited much on his day out, 94% of the chicks have tic's and the older birdies have some worm infestation, so don't you go cooking his catch will you, could end up with a bug.

It would be wiser for him to wait till grouse season officially opens.

You're English aren't you?

I can tell by the way you write. You use these strange words like "moor" and "iconoclast" and "dining". and "the".
