I dont know if animals can suffer from bipolar disorder or something like that, but I know that animals can suffer from nervousness or they can get depressed or sad, and I guess that sort of counts as mental illnesses.

Yes they can. I haven't seen them go insane but in Fur Camps they victim animal can and does go insane. They do because many of these animals require big spaces and clean spaces and fresh air. The other reason they go insane or psychotic is because the get trapped by human-made traps and try to eat their leg off. It's really disturbing to even think about it.

yes ,my one dog Jessie is a definite depressive and my other one Cheech, thinks she's a doberman or a pitbull.She's a chihuahua.Then there are the two stray cats I'm feeding that have abandonment issues and THEY are chasing all my wild birds from the feeder!
