I asked a question about whether people had an elephant penis or an uncircumcised penis. An uncircumcised penis resembles an elephant trunk, visually, not in size like most seem to be answering. I could care less how big or small you penis is. I just wanted to get a poll of who was unscathed and who wasn't. I am thinking for my kids to keep them uncircumcised.

Sandy, I think that you are the one dude that doesn't get that metaphor, and it really isn't a metaphor, cause it looks like a fricken elephant trunk. For those that don't know what a trunk is, it's the elephant's long nose. I think the women never think of it like that because the always see the penis when it is erect, not in the next urinal.

Barbara M, I am more worried about them having to deal with people like you in life.

Elephant Trunk Penis

I was not born in the US. So, a circumcised penis to me is a freak of nature - it's like somebody without ears......I see it as mutilation or deformity - when the skin is not there....it's like something is missing.....I'm a girl myself, and the best part of penis is that skin that I can play with and put my tongue inside it and play it up and down my tongue or my finger.....that extra skin is what I love and what turns me on - that makes penis looks much prettier in my opinion. Also, if that brought dirt to the body - most men would be dead by now.....because most people in the world do not circumcised. The penis circumcision is a very American thing, but not typical in other countries. I'm not from US, I saw my father and both grand-fathers and cousin boys - no one was ever circumcised and all are healthy and ok. My boyfriend is also from non-US culture and his penis is not circumcised and he was never sick with any infections..... Also, when penis is relaxed - it does look like a freaking elephant's nose - it's ridiculous and funny and weird looking.....it's like men have a small elephant head between their legs......with the two testicles reminiscent of the elephants two round big years behind the long nose(that hose that you call trunk)........But I never get turned on by that - I don't want to have sex with elephant's nose, I want something firm and thick like a sausage or burrito or a chocolate-covered banana...............I don't make love with elephants or anything that looks like them.........including non-erect penis...........It does look weird - some kind of hoze (mangera)........But then, everything is weird.....vagina , for example, look to me like a wrinkled wet rag with bunch of folds - not really like a flower as is often romantically presented in pictures....

I support your (tentative) decision to keep your children uncircumcised. The only medical argument for circumcision is cleanliness and, frankly, you sound like a conscientious enough parent to be able to teach your children basic hygiene. Seems like a better option than torturing your children to uphold a tradition.

As for "elephant penises"... I've heard the term used but never had it explained, until now. I guess most other people haven't heard the term explained either; but when people hear the word "elephant", they think of the main defining factor about elephants, which is their size. Since penis size is often a contentious issue, it makes sense that they would think that, by saying "elephant penis", you simply mean a large penis.

how about asking something worth while and understandable. not alot of people, including myself don't think an uncircumcised penis looks like an elephant trunk.

You chose a bad metaphor. When people think elephant they FIRSTLY think BIG enormous. Not saggy skin.

That's the least of your kid's problems.
I'm more worried about them having you as a father!

If you choose to not circumsize your boys, you have to teach them to clean themselves properly. If you do that - everything should be fine. I see your metephor, I just don't think it is a very good one - Only circumsized men use that metephor, but as a woman, I don't see it that way.

As long as the boys learn to keep it clean (smegma is a concern), let them be natural.

I chose not to snip my son, but i was being cheap about it.

An extra $150!

I'm wanting to reclaim my uncircumsized flesh. The hospital told me they threw it away after the operation.
