no you should not be pushed around and laughed at all the time. try to change the subject every time this comes up and you could maybe talk to your friends and tell them you dont like it. if they are your true friends, theyll understand and back off.

Hey, no youre not being too uptight, i totally no where youre coming from. i get it too sometimes. They only think of it as a joke but it gets really annoying after a while and its not even funny so whats the point. If it carries on then you should do something about it, If you talk to them about it and they say youre being stupid you;ll prob have to think about who youre friends with and why... If you dont feel ready to talk about it with them then you can try hanging out with different people. If they are true friends and care about you they shouldnt do it inthe first place though ..Good luck! : )

Tell your friends to quit being mean to you. If they don't, find new friends. No one should be making fun of you or putting you down. Sometimes even coming back with a joke at them might help too. Let them know you're not going to be pushed around anymore. If you tell them to stop making fun of you and they don't, give them a taste of their own medicine. If they don't like it, maybe they will back off. Good luck!!

i had "friends" like this throughout my entire teenage years. i'd get grapes thrown at me by my suposed 'best friend forever' and other stuff thrown at me by other friends, i used to not be included in anything they did, and if i came around they'd snicker to themselves and go somewhere else.
but the weird thing is, they choose to talk to me in the first place. i was always quiet and didn't talk to anyone first.
i ignored it, fought back a few times, cried about it, and lost them, and i have no friends now but i see that as good. i have one best friend, my boyfriend, and he's so sweet to me. plus it gives me time to work on school projects and work more hours.

Depends on the jokes, if they are really mean intending to hurt you you need to tell them to stop, if they don't they are not friends. if i was you, and which i was in this particular issue, friends will come and go, if your fun, funny and cool, just get new friends. friends like that are dispensible, throw em away.

Of course you're upset. It doesn't seem like they're really your friends if they make fun of you all the time. Maybe try and meet some new people.

These people are not your friends, find a new group of friends I suggest getting involved with a youth church group where you can find real friends for life.
