i reformatted my hard drive reinstall windows and reset the hard drive and memory and it still stop it just freezes up and i have to hold the power button to trun it off and takes a while befor it come back on and when it do it stays on for 2min most and stop can someone please tell me how to fix this if so please help you can email me at joyoflove2003@yahoo.com or here just help help help

Try reformatting. But don't do a quick format, try a thourough one! If that doesn't work, it doesn't spin up, and/or makes clicking noises that aren't normal, get a new hard drive.

sounds like the hard drive id not find boot sectors or not reading the FAT correctly, buy a new hard drive!

sound like ypur hard drive is having data recovery issues, try inserting a new drive (one that you know works) and seeing if that works. if it does, get a new drive, if it doesnt, then try reseating your ram, cpu and other components then trying again.

Try going into the start menu and go to run type msconfig.try clearing the start up.if it doesn't work you can always swich it back.

Sounds like it could be hardware failure. Buy a new hard drive.
