If you are over 50... What was your first toy that you remember?

Mine was a slinky and I tangled it up the first day I got it.

Well, you made me think og so many things.

First of all being 54, I have many. But back then girls played with dolls alot more. aside from dolls, tinker toys, slinky, candy land, pistols with caps!!! Oh the good old days!!!

I remember this wind-up car toy, where I would place the cars on this metal "roadway" and as they drove around, I would push a colored lever that would raise up a guide wall to send it along another roadway.

io could "drive" around the whole path.

i really liked the blue lever

I had a metal "Mobo" (Triang) tortoise. It was painted in yellow and red. It had an odd mechanism, contolled by a sort of brake lever and cable, that propelled the tortoise in an ambling zig-zag gait.

I still had it until, sadly. it was destroyed in a fire, a couple of years ago.
