The French are the only ones with enough clout in this world to negotiate peace between warring countries. Countries around the world listen to the French for diplomatic advise. If we start insulting the French, there would be no other country in the world anyone wants to listen to. In orther words, a nuclear melt down World War III. So be nice to the French, it might save your life and your children's lives for whatever future is left in this warring world.

Plenty of people. There are some very nice French people..and then some not so nice ones. It's the same w/Americans and every other culture. No one should stereotype any group of people based on a few.

I was in Europe for two months with a group of educators. Of all the countries we visited, they were the rudest people we encountered. We unanimously agreed it was the one country - if we went back to Europe - we would not revisit, and it was sad really. We went over there HOPING and expecting to dispel the "myth" of French hostility. We came home very disappointed. It is a beautiful country, but the attitude of the people ruined it for us - I am sad to report.

Me, France has been my favorite country since I was a little boy because of the culture that it has, also, your language sounds very nice, i consider travelling to France someday and wish to speak French better someday. Au Revoir!

I do, I was in France, they were very nice, they have great food, a beautiful country and have been a strong ally for decades. I'm American. I would easy go back. This dilike of entire countries is really not a good thing.
