I was on the pill for five years and am trying to get pregnant. I stopped in May and had my regular period in July and have not had another period since. I was wondering if anyone else had a similiar experience or has any serious answers. I am not pregnant. Thanks

It generally takes about 3 months for a woman's period to return to normal after coming off the pill. It also isn't uncommon for the first few cycles to be really long. I would wait it out but if you don't see your period within 3 months you need to see your doctor to rule out hormone imbalance.

The time your era will initiate back is thoroughly up on your physique. there is not any longer a set time for it to start back. besides the undeniable fact that, maximum will initiate interior 2-3 months after quitting the pill. this gives you your physique adequate time to flush all the pill's hormones out of your device.

Everyone is different and it also depends on the brand/dosage of pill. It took us 2 months to get pregnant and I think that was very lucky. I would ask your doctor, good luck!

Generally they recommend 3 months. It may take longer. Once you get your cycle every 28-33 days again. You are back to normal.
