Yea as the other poster said U.N. troops will already be put in place if a cease fire is reached so this is kind of a nonissue. From what it sounds the head of Hezbollah has realized he has caused extensive damage to Lebannon by giving Israel a reason to bomb them, and seems pretty resolved on stopping the missile attacks if a peace agreement is reached.

Israeli aggression ? Isn't Israel defending itself against attack ? Didn't Hezbollah fire the first rocket in this war? Had that rocket not been fired, there would be no war.Every sovereign state has a right to defend itself if attacked!!! UN troops are impotent to do anything, they are peacekeepers, and do not fight. If, after Israel stops the fighting, and Hezbollah terrorists fire more rockets,I fear Israel will pull out ALL the means necessary to stop them.I hope it does not come to that.

The Six Day warfare replaced into in 1967, you're considering the 1948 warfare. And certain, the known version is more effective propaganda than actuality. at the same time as the Arab governments engaged contained in the worst sorts of threats and sabre damn, they really gave the Palestinians little or no with the help of way of economic and military help, and the theory that Arab armies poured into Palestine tochronic Israel into the sea is organic unadulterated BS. The Israelis did truly have have the more effective forces in 1948 and the outcome of the warfare replaced into under no circumstances really uncertain, it replaced into Israel that captured the lion's percentage of Palestine, no longer the Palestinians.

The requirements of the current UN resolution specify 15000 UN troops, plus a commitment of 15000 Lebanese troops to stop Hezbollah.
If Hezbollah fires any rockets at Israeli cities, or commits any other act of terrorism against Israeli forces after the cease fire, the deal is off.

Israel is not the aggressor. Hezbollah IS.
Israel should immediately defend itself if Hezbollah attacks.
The worthless UN should keep their wimpy nose out of it and stop trying to rescue the Islamo-facist terrorists.
Reagan succumbed to public pressure and pressure from the lefties in Congress: a big mistake. But, had Carter taken care of business with the Islamo-facists of Iran, we probably wouldn't be facing the level of terrorism from Muslims that we have today.

Of Course They Should!!! You obviously have your facts wrong- the Israeli's are not the aggressors. They want to get rid of the true aggressors which of course is Hezbollah. If the other surrounding countries would leave Israel alone for once there would be no problems. Isreali people do not raise their kids to become suicide bombers as obviously those in surrounding countries DO. Israel is just trying to exist in it's tiny country. Since when is defending yourself a crime?

We shouldn't care at all. If we didn't unconditionally support Israel, Sept. 11 would never have happened.
What we should do is build a time machine. Skip going back to 1947 and fixing the big mistake perpetrated by the U.N. and the world when they partitioned Palestine. Go back further with a bag of anti-psychotic drugs to be administered to a schizo named Abraham who suffers hallucinations revolving around an evil apparition that demands he kill his kid. Remedying his madness will thwart him and his contemporaries from perpetuating the delusion that begat Judaism, that begat Christianity, that begat Islam. We'll have a new begetting: Shalom, Peace, Salaam.
But since we can't build a time machine, if the Jews and Arabs want to kill each other, let'em. We should mind our own business.

I would say yes. If the Lebanese cannot control Hezbollah, and Israel has agreed to a measure of peace, then an outside source should step in.

Yeah thats a great idea. The Israeli's can quit their offense for
a while and see if hezbollah does something stuiped and
they can prove to the world that their offense is justified.
