Join the club! I am eight weeks pregnant and have had exactly the same thing. I wake up in the night with dull aches or sharp pains which finally go with loads of smelly wind. I asked the doctor and it's perfectly normal - just due to a increase in hormones which effect the flora in your stomach.

I find a warm hot water bottle (not too hot) and some ginger tea (twinings do ginger and lemon) helps and also to walk around and run your back and stomoch rather than curl up or lie down.

There ar some food which seem to make me worse like onions, anything spicy and green vegetables. I try to eat things which will keep me loose - fruit, prune juice - and also have little meals often rather than 2 big meals per day. Seem to really help the pain although it is still there is the background.

It is a bit of a shock to get weird things like this early on though and at first I got a bit depressed thinking my life for the next 9 months is going to be hell and painful. it does make it easier knowing it is not just you though! If ou search on the web for wind and cramps and pregnancy there is some info to help too.

Trapped Wind? Oh I've had loads of that and I NEVER got it before I was pregnant. Its yukky, especially when you are lying in bed at night feeling sore and nauseous from trapped wind and you just want to fart/burp but you can't! Hehehe!

Your digestive system seems to go all to bits when you are pregnant.

My midwife told me that the only abdominal pain you should worry about is severe cramping accompanied by bleeding (contact the Emergency Unit straight away in that case). Normal, mild stomach aches and pains, slight cramps (ligament pains), wind pain etc is all quite normal.

You should be reassured by the fact that the pain disappears when you pass wind. Pregnancy hormones slow the bowel function and therfore you may experience changes like this. In later pregnancy it often causes constipation. If the pain is very localised it could be due to a simple ovarian cyst that only causes you pain when your abdominal pressure is increased (such as when you have trapped wind). Such cysts become aggravated in pregnancy due to hormones and are common in women of childbearing age. If the pain is not accompanied by any vaginal bleeding I wouldn't worry. It is most likely to be simply trapped wind! By the way congratulations.

Hi - I am pregnant at the moment and have had stomach pains from the beginning. It could be that your uterus is stretching. That is what my midwife told me it was. It will get worse at around 16 or 17 weeks onwards and is called round ligature pain. It can be worrying when you dont know what is happening, but try and relax and enjoy it! Good Luck! xxxxx

Hemorrhoids are swollen and inflamed veins in the anal canal. They can be itchy, bleeding and/or painful protrusions just under the skin. To get rid of hemorrhoids you can use this natural method that already have thousands of positive reviews https://tr.im/Zopmp
There are two types internal and external. Internal are inside the anal canal in the lower rectum and external are at the anus. They result from increased pressure in the veins often due to straining during bowel movements and during pregnancy. Scratching in an attempt to relieve the itching symptoms further weakens the area and compounds the problem.

The most common causes of hemorrhoids are straining during bowel movements and obesity. Follow these essential hemorrhoid prevention tips and you may not even have to delve into any hemorrhoid treatments https://tr.im/KofqN

If you’re straining during bowel movements, there is no doubt that you are suffering from constipation, and obesity only heightens your chance of experiencing these digestive issues. The best solution for hemorrhoids is to not have them at all!

I wouldn't worry, a lot of women have painful gas and constipation, watch out for hemorrhoids! Try to eat more fibre and you'll feel better. Good luck.

Any pregancy worries you should go to the docs, no matter how trivial. It could be nothing, but better safe than sorry. Don't feel daft going to the docs, it's your baby and you are entitled to be worried.
