I protect my skin when out in the sun and stay pale... because I'd rather be pale now and look awesome when I'm 50. My mom has great skin and protected herself most of the time, and she has a friend (same age, 52) and she's been tan her whole life and has had cancerous spots removed 3 times and looks like leather. I'm preparing for the future. Plus I pull of pale well and never had trouble getting a boyfriend... I married to a red-headed pale guy. :)

When it comes to guys, I like them both tanned or pale... as long as I like him, I don't really care about the color of his skin. However, in general, I would say tanned skin is better looking.

i have always been pale, and the sunkissed look is great. I am pale, redhead, and grey eyes, and I like tanned men, just a little tan,now. The dark tanning booth tan, looks like they were baked instead of sun-tanned. I want to look great when I am 50, too, and not look freaky. I am not into really tanned men, just slightly tanned,and i love pale men, the ones with dark hair and dark eyes. Plus,I like tatooes men too,and if they are tanned, the tatts don't show up as well.

People with tanned skin, definitely. People look healthier when tanned. Of course, those women who go out and get burned to a crisp and turn into these brown spots do not look healthy.

Pale because ahlot of people with tanned skin loook likr=e they have been in a tanning room *no offense* In tottally agree with annaxcoture

I have very fair skin, and prefer guys with skin just darker than mine (which is just about everyone) but not really "tan"

TANNED OBVIOUSLY LOOKS BETTER. SURE. BUT...IF YOU HAVE PALE SKIN, THEN ACCENTUATE IT WITH CERTAIN MAKEUP THAT BRINGS OUT YOUR BEST FEATURES. OR TRY A LOTION THAT GIVES YOU A SUDDLE GLOW. BE SURE NOT TO ADD TOO MUCH OR IT WILL TO ORANGE. ADD A LITTLE THIN LAYER AND IT GIVES A NICE GLOW. TRY IT. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING PALE. MAKE A STATEMENT. MAKE PALE THE NEW TAN. PLUS, IT'S NATURAL. THERE'S NOTHING BETTER; MOST THINGS LOOK BETTER NATURAL ANYWAY, RIGHT?

I've always had pale skin and I love it. But my legs are so white, that people cringe when I wear short skirts in the sun. So, I'm thinking that having a sun kissed color is the best.
