how can people be so cruel to animals and think that it's ok or funny?

Question

i own 15 animals:
3 horses
2 mini goats
2 parrots
5 chickens and 3 dogs(soon to be 4)
they are all well taken care of and have plenty of food, water and shelter and see the vet regularly. some of the things i hear that people do to animals just makes me want to beat them with a 2x4. then they would find out how it feels to be abused for no reason. am i wrong for feeling this way? (i don't think so)

Not at all. Abusing animals is like abusing a child. Animals cannot do wrong, as they do not know the difference between right and wrong, and they only do what comes naturally to them. Can anybody sympathize with somebody who abuses their child? Of course not. So it is totally normal to hate people who abuse their animals.

I work in a vet hospital and have seen some very sick things, from dogs left to starve outside to dogs left with a collar that was too small and had it grow into their skin and cut their neck open, cats shot with arrows, dogs stabbed with knives, shot, etc. It's sick to treat something this way. And the animals who are abused are most often the nicest animals. They treat people with respect and love no matter what horrible things we have done to them. I think the human race can learn a lot from our furry friends.

You are not wrong for thinking that way, unfortunately it won't do any good. I just saw on the news the other night about a dog that was left with no food or water and nobody knows for how long, it was nothing but skin and bones, I don't know why anyone would do that when all they had to do was take it to a shelter.

i would join in also with a 2by4. I dint think your wrong. I also think its awesome that you own 15 animals. That's so cool of you. Though who abuse animals are just plain sick, ill, and cruel. They have no compassion in life and are failers. I'm sorry if I sound harsh but I don't take anything back cause animals out their are suffering at the hands of these creeps.

Some people are ignorant, satanic, demonic, and/or just plain screwed mentally! Hell no, you are NOT wrong! I agree 100%. I hate hearing or seeing things like that. If I see something like that and am able to help the animal, I will. No animal deserves such mutilation or pain. They hurt just like we do. Right on for this question!

I'm with you all the way! I can't stand it when someone hurts an animal,I go nuts! I wish there was something I could do stop all those people but I can't but thank goodness that someone else out there feels the same as me.

It's because they have no self respect so they are unable to respect anything or anyone else. They feel the need to exert their power and aren't big enough to take on a human so they pick on poor defenceless animals.

depression. problems in their life. and some people are just too lazy to take care of their own pet. you're not wrong at all for feeling this way, lots of people do. why not get involved with your local humane society? :)

I don't think you are. I would like to do essentially the same thing. They are cold, heartless, without sensitivity, and without a soul. I truly believe they will "pay" for what they have done. Remember, God cares for each of His creatures.

i agree some people are horrible. its ok for feeling this way but do not carry out your actions or you could get in trouble. the only way to help is to report abuse if you see it. i hope this helps!
