No goth is a lifestyle that embraces the beauty in darkness they are the type who would tend to covet the beauty of death as a passing of a loved one to end suffering and enjoy a new phase of the cycle. THey dress in darker colors typically because it helps to allow them to alienate themselves enough so they can understand the world around them with less outside influence. The new age poser mall goths which you see all over the place are often satanists. But older goths tend to understand the subcultures basics and can belong to any religion

I see goth as a way to express my feelings, like emo. I know tons of cool goth people that believe and worship God. Including myself.
