My boyfriend is taking me on holiday to the canary islands in 2 weeks, during which it will be his 30th birthday. I want to make his day really special as he truly deserves it! I need some help in deciding what kind of present to get him, I want to get him something special that he will be able to keep forever. Also any ideas on how to make his birthday more special than all of our other days on holiday will be greatly appreciated.
We have been together for a year and his main interests are cars, music and football but he is quite sensitive and would appreciate something more personal.

Since you will be away, find small things before you leave,
the card (to put a picture that you take or get taken at the islands)
wear his favorite color on you, maybe a swim suit, find a beautiful spot that you enjoy go to dinner, do an activity--(you can research
this before you leave. I think if you are going to purchase
something....do it there. When we went traveling during my
boyfriends birthday..I had wished I hadn't brought much except money.....but since that's not ever practical.....try to get something he can use every day....there...I bought him a shirt and had his truck
air-brushed on the island we stayed on....he loved it. We went the boat races.....which he thoroughly always wanted to see (they circle the island). Maybe you will find something you can get him
(even) when you return also....(I bought my boyfriend a cocka too
and we had to ship it back after he returned home. You can shop on the streets in the Canary islands.
If you are strapped, the islands are beautiful places to find what he likes. Hope you have a few days there before his b-day.
If you have the money....take him to Spain for the day!
Well, there is enough to do on the islands....do you know spanish? there are lessons on the net....so you know a little. he'd love that.
If you do....there is tons of things to do.....these islands are
so beautiful...look on the net for the nightlife there are English pubs, great restuarants.....Breakfast in Bed will probably be available on the morning of his birthday...if not....go out shopping and tell him to sleep in....bring all those things you would love,
flowers, a special gift he can wear, and some fruit, bread, and
don't be out too long. .....or go out the day before. Bring a large purse if he is with you.
The beaches are incredible.....I don't know what island you'll
be on , but google the name of the islands...and find a place you
want to go (maybe another island) for his birthday.
Have fun! P.S. If he likes cars.....esp his own....get a picture
to airbrush before you leave.the states....maybe with you and him.in front of it. If it is nothing special....go do something you wouldn't do here...

Maybe go scuba diving, and purchase an underwater camera(they even have portable throw aways) and take
pictures....look up history and see what you can find ciao, have fun!

For extra special somethings, my opinion is...buying him something is out of the question!
You need to "do" something. No I do not mean sex. I mean, say perhaps there are days when you are usually away and he is home alone to fend for himself, take a day off and be there to greet him. Spend time with him. Plan a day where the two of you can enjoy the company of each other.perhaps rent some time at a spa, or make reservations to dinner at a nice place.
Perhaps though you do not want to chance him being too tired when he gets home from work or school or whatever. Then take time when you both have off and go do something together, perhaps find a place that rents horses to go horseback riding, or go boating, or just enjoy a picnic in the shade of a park or along a creek.
Whatever you do, the best present you can give is you.

Get him a really nice time piece and get your self the sexiest lingerie that you can find for his birthday bash.You could have something really special engraved on the watch and write a little note in a card as to what time with him means to you,just an idea,have fun on the islands

Well since he is sensitive and you want this to be a birthday present he won't forget try this, it is what I would want from a special girl. put on your hardest shoes/boots and smile at him and kick him in the nuts as hard as you can on his birthday... he will always remember this day. ever guy wants this from his girl...

unless u 2 already are banging. in that case,
if u bring a hot women into the sex, so a 3some can happen, then that is one gift a guy will remember, forever and ever and ever.
but seriously, i dont know. it sounds like if u just pampered him, a massage or something, even for one day, he'll be happy. it dont take much for guys to be happy when it comes to women.
