Nope. Nintendo owns all the licenses for Mario and they'll never allow Sony to make a game for the PS2. I know that doesn't help but its the truth. You can buy an old Nintendo or Super Nintendo really cheap these days. Look into it. Thats what I did.

Sorry, but no Mario is a trademarked character of Nintendo so you will need a Nintendo console to play a mario game.

No way. Mario is entirely owned by Nintendo, and also, Sony and Nintendo are biggest rivals, so Nintendo would never give them the rights to there best selling franchise.

No, never. So long as Nentindo is still making consoles, all of its francises (Mario, Zelda, DK, Metriod etc.) Will be only on those consoles
Try getting a gameboy (advance/DS) all of the old Mario games have been released for handhelds.
