I don't think it is bad, no child is a mistake in God's eyes. God does expect children to be born into a family created by a husband and wife. I don't think it would bring you closer to your child either, because all children resent their parents at one time or another. They may even resent them more? Sex is a gift from God that a husband and wife share. When your a teen, sex is an act of abuse, that is emotionally hard to handle. I think that if you plan to marry one day, and expect that you will never cheat on you spouse when you are married, that you should NOT cheat on them when you are a teen. You would be able to give them a gift that NOONE has ever had. YOU! A pretty speical wedding gift if you ask me, bets giving them something all used up, exspeically if you love them enough to marry them!

It completely depends on the situation. If the mother is an older teen then go for it as long as she CAN provide for the child. As for 13, 14, 15 year old girls it's incredibly stupid. I got pregnant at 17 and I KNOW I didn't ruin my life. I don't and have never used anyone's tax dollars to provide for my children (I have 2 now). I feel that it will bring a mother closer to their child when they get in their teens. My mom had me when she was 18 and she and I were always really close. I know I never did without when I was growing up. My parents married and were married until 6 months before my 17th birthday. My kids have it pretty good. Their father and I are still madly in love and have no plans on parting ways anytime soon. I will say things can be harder to accomplish while you have children but where there's a will there's a way. I wouldn't change it for the world.

It sucks, and no, it doesn't naturally bring you closer to your child as they get into their teens. Your role as a parent is not to try to be their best friend, which you'll fail in the attempt anyway. Your role is to be their parent, and the overwhelming occasion is that, at one time or another your child will resent you. So welcome to the real world. A child will automatically and very naturally challenge what the parent thinks they know is best. What else is new. That's the new generation testing their wings, and sometimes, oftentimes, the fall a few times in the process. So what. They fly more intelligently the next time. Sometimes. God Bless you.

Teen pregnancy really depends on the teen herself.
Is she going to be able to handle the baby (more then likely on her own)?
Can she financially provide for the baby?
What about Schooling?
Does she has family support?
There are many things to think about when getting pregnant no matter the age of the person.
I was 16 when I had my first child and was able to finish High School and support my child. I had family support from both sides of the family.

i don't necessarily think that having a child young will bring a child closer to the mother. actually my cousin got preggie at 16 and now she resents her daughter because she "ruined" her life by being born. And the daughter resents the mother also. If you and your child have a good realitonship it doesn't matter how old you were when you had your child.

Its better to be married in the long run,it takes two parents to raise a child, young or old it does not matter, the child has a choice to do good or bad,be close to parents or not to be close to them.

Well, yes and no. I'm 15, but I still don't think it's right. Parents really should discipline their kids better and raised them up right. It's too late to try to start raising them when they're 13. Sex is supposed to be a wonderful thing enjoyed by two people who love eachother very much, not two immature people whoa re 'in love' and have no clue what they're doing. If you want to feel good down there, just masturbate. It doesn't hurt anyone, you don't have to aworry about getting STD's or getting pregnant...maybe it's more a stupidity thing..I dunno.

its not bad but its not good to have a child at a young age...... its stressfull.....and money issues, taking care of it...and for someone young who might like to go out a lot, they might neglect the child and not be responsible...

i would say it is very bad because the teen doesn't know really what to do and she can't really go out with her friends anytime she wants to she would have to stay home and take care of the baby
