It depends on what type of make up your looking for and how much you are willing to spend.
I currently use M.A.C and Flori Roberts products although they are bit expensive they are the best products I have used in a long time. ( In terms of coverage and having a natural look or glow not like the phantom of the opera mask look)
With the more expensive brand make up products they have consultants who work there that will give you advise on which color best suites you unlike the cheaper make up products that you can buy at target, walmart, etc.) The package tells you that the color is a caramel when it is actually more of a reddish hue and you get it home or delivered(online) and the color doesn't match that's money that you have wasted.

Personally i would go to Macy's, Nordstroms, etc., and find a Representative of different make-up and see what kind of skin you have. They will do complimentary make-up for you and you can probably get some samples. Know what skin type you are before just going and buying stuff you don't know if it is good for you. There are also colors that will look better for your skin tone than others. Invest the time in checking this out. You will be happier and your skin will Love you.

Whichever brands you decide on don't change much from store to store, if any, you know? So shop around. Go to the nearest store and they'll be the same at every Target.

Go online to target.com, and if you like Maybelline or CoverGirl - go onto THOSE websites and find coupons (a lot of times those are on sale)
Plus in your Sunday newspaper you will find quite a bit of coupons to use to try these cosmetics. Good luck :) And HAVE FUN with trying on makeup :) :) :)

Check the site below for approximate prices. Also, look in the flyers that come with the newspaper to see what is currently on sale.
