If you mean the page that first comes up when you go to Internet Explorer go into your Internet Options either through IE or through your Control Panel. Just click Use Blank button and when you start up will just have a blank page.

If your on Dial Up Internet this can save you some time so it doesn't open a page before you can go to another one, you can just type in where you want to go right off the start.

1)Click on the 'Tools' tab (top of the Internet Explorer toolbars)
2)Then Click on 'Internet Options'
The 'Internet Options' Box should appear.
3) Where it says 'Home page' - There is a box with your current Home Page written so use the 'backspace' button on keyboard and delete the home page.
4)Then write the web address of the Home Page you want.

Here is an example:
Pretend In the box the home page is written as: http://www.msn.com/
But you want to change this to another website (of your choice), so just delete the other home page and write (the website you want): http://www.yahoo.com/

Also: If you can not get into the 'Internet Options' Box you can go through the 'START' Button, then 'Control Panel' and then click on 'Internet Options' - the box should appear.

Hope this helps.

If you have been tricked into downloading some phishy spyware, you may not be able to very easily. You need to do 3 things

A) Confirm that you have not had your PC software Hijacked. Use a Spyware and Software detection tool such as 'Hijach This' to detect the spyware.

B) Clean your System from any offending SPyware, greyware, Virus or other odd stuff.

C) Protect your PC from unwanted software for the next instance confirm if there is anything available from your ISP

Be vigilant in the Web sites you do surf to , and be wary of sites that have 'Clik here for free.....' Nothing is Free, there is a cost somewhere. If it sounds too good DON'T Click on it.

If you mean the page that loads when you boot up, and you use Windows, you can change it to another page -(ex: Yahoo.com), go to [your choice] page, and click on Tools, Internet Options, click on "use current", then OK.

If you want a blank page to load, click on Use Blank, then OK. In the "address" field there, it will read "about:blank". Refresh to see your new opening home page.

This is assuming you use Internet Explorer browser. Other browsers will have a similar setup within them. (tools, etc..)
