I love to blow my nose often and loud like an elephant while at a restaurant. I especially like to do it during Dinner Theatres. I also like to laugh very, very loud like a giraffe, and shout out things that make me feel very important, such as, "Did you download that file from the internet" and "Did you know that Jake just quit his job and he only gave one week's notice"

LOL....I think you need to find more things to do than go to dinner theaters and blow your nose!!! Why don't you try a nice museum to do that, or how about during the sermon at church?
Of course, I've blown my nose at a restaurant. Especially when eating hot and spicy foods! I hate when they only give you the fabric napkins too, I feel really bad about messing up the restaurants linens. I think every restaurant should supply paper napkins as well. Anyway, I don't do it loud like an elephant, I've heard that isn't even good for you! It can blow your adenoids out. And that would suck. I do a "girly" blow, LOL!!

I have to admit, i've done it before, but not the nasty ones. When I've had a cold, and my nose is running, i can't keep getting up every 30 seconds to try and clear it so I have to do it at the table. I know it's rude, but getting up all the time walking past people as they eat is pretty rude too.
At least i turn my head and lean down so nobody will notice. Don't want them to see any snot that may be hanging from my nose, that's just gross.

Here's my rant because that's a pet peeve
I can't stand it when I'm in restaurant and people are blowing their nose, and I don't mean a quick little blow, which is nasty enough, but the 'cleaning out the brain ticklers' kind. It's disgusting, and the thing I noticed is that it's always older people, you know the type that always complain that "young people have no manners" and their always sitting with other people. if they were at my table I would slap the hell out of them. How hard is it to go outside or to the bathroom.
you bore easily, don't you.

Of course - if need be - blow all you want. Women wear enough perfume into the place to gag a maggot and then when we sneeze or blow - "they" consider it bad manners. Bathe in soap and water please - not your perfume bottle.
