when im in games why cant i chat with them like i am with you?

i try chating with people and it wont let me when i type in something it wont let me send it i have voice at the end of my line where i type what i want to say

im not trying to chat in room im trying to tell them nice hand in black and white

Yahoo shut off IM in card games because people harass and cheat.

you can chat in the room where all can see,but they stopped private messages.
