What do you expect? Hezbollah to crawl around in the ashes crying? Of course they are claiming a victory, and in some sense they are correct ... they still exist, even after Israel started a fricking genocidal war to exterminate them, killing women and children by the score.
This is a PR disaster for Israel, which has shown itself to be just as murderous as their foes in the region. They have lost whatever moral high ground they every held.

When it comes to war, there's no winners. Ask the relatives of those dying people either in Israel or Lebanon and they'll tell you that. If Israel waged that war solely to get the kidnapped soldiers back then I'm sorry to say they lost bad. The 2 soldiers are still not home, hundreds more died in vain so far not to mention the financial losses and the international Israeli image stained by the blood of hundreds of Lebanese kids killed during this war.

the terrorist win as soon as the cease fire occurs and Israel pulls out. This will just give Hezbollah time to bebuild and rearm. As soon as they do they will just resume their bombing. Israel should not stop until the terrorist are all dead and disarmed.

Well, the Hezbos were supposed to disarm under UN resolution 1559... they didn't... tyranny ALWAYS wins when there is compromise, and they will ALWAYS claim victory. the only "victory" against islamo-fascism is to kill each and every one of these lunatics. every day ithat they can plan your death and the death of rationality is a victory for these murderers w/7th century minds.

The only real victory that has occurred is the victory of the public outcry to stop the violence the Israelis are inflicting on the Lebanese people. And it is only a small step to end Israeli violence.
