I guess that men are afraid of showing their true feelings because... they don't want to be hurt. We put on a show and act like we are in control of oyur emotions and feelings, when the truth is, we are just as confused and longing for love and security as you girls. Media doesn't help either. Or all the war mongering idiots in the world. But, rest assured, one day all of us can show our true feelings. Man, woman and child. Until then, we will just hide our feelings and pretend we are on top of everything....

What are my 'true' feelings ?

They change over time, sometimes quite quickly, but if I make the mistake of REALLY opening up, then I'm stuck with that label forever.

I don't have the time or inclination to continually explain myself to anyone, so the best solution for everyone is to keep things at a fairly trivial level.

I let people judge me by what I do.

Thats not true!!

On 24th December 2005 I sent my girlfriend upstairs to get her 'nearly christmas' present.

When she got upstairs there was a note saying to look under the pillow, under the pillow was a note to say look in the spare room... this kept her busy for 5mins

The last note said come down stairs silly!

When she came down the stairs laughing she could here the song that we had first kissed to 5 years ago, candles lit the room and I was on one knee...

I asked her to make me the luckiest man in the world and she said yes!

We're married now and have just had our 1st child Jack, and I cried for 20mins when he was born!!

ahhhh....

Saying that... if anyone looks at my pint funny in the pub I'll glass 'em grrrr!!

There's no mystery if we show all our cards. True feelings are mostly self doubt, uncertainty, and a lot of "why me" attitude. Would you really be attracted to those traits? Women want a man that is confident.

So, most men "fakes it until he makes it".

I am truly hurt that you think I show my feelings, It is bringing me to tears. How could you be so cruel and mean to me, I don't even know you yet you think I have no emotions. I am truly hurt.

I think that most women want to know this stuff about us men because they want to use it against us!

Because we hurt them once, and they will never trust again.

They should be braver - women get knocked about emotionally and otherwise - and we are brave enough to show our hearts.

C'mon men - step up to it - be brave again.

Man wants girl.
Man must be strong and compete with other men to get girl.
Emotions are weak.
Sharing is weak.

So act tough, don't share thoughts or emotions, and you will get the girl

That is the law of the jungle.

Everyone shows their feelings in different way. Me, I choose to use a neon sign, just in case whoever I'm with doesn't know me well enough to know how I feel. My question to you is, why do you feel you have a right to know how someone else feels.

What the hell is Zebra talking about? HUH? HELLO! anybody home? I though you were supposed to help answer someone else's question, not spin off on your own drug induced pipe dream. I take it your wife has your balls in her purse? I'm revoking your *man* card.

See, this is why men *ARE NOT* supposed to show their true feelings, nobody can handle them, not even other men! My head is spinning, I feel sick to my stomach...
