My monitor came with a crappy microphone built in, and it's causing some really annoying feedback when I try to use a regular headset to talk over ventrilo or any other voice program. I can't seem to find any way to disable it through the control panel. Does anyone have any good advice for how to shut this down?

well that is a easy fix you put your microphone in the microphone port on the back of your sound card at the back of your pc & if your getting feed back take the mic boost off the microphone settings in ur sound card control panel on windows xp there is a sound speaker click on that then click on advanced tab under microphone and remove the tick from the 1mic boost
