"Love Sick" causes an increase in "Dopamine" which is a hormone in your body that shuts down most everything else to satisfy this "Love Sickness" you feel. <1>

"Dopamine is commonly associated with the pleasure system of the brain, providing feelings of enjoyment and reinforcement to motivate proactively perform certain activities. Dopamine is released (particularly in areas such as the nucleus accumbens and striatum) by naturally rewarding experiences such as food, sex, use of certain drugs and neutral stimuli that become associated with them."

Guess what? Guys get "Love sick too"!!!
This feeling will not last forever, so enjoy now, and find commonalities to continue a relationship. Wait till the love-sickness is manageable (eating becomes normal again) before carelessly diving into expectations of each other.

I know what you mean, it's a very powerful feeling, everything just seams unimportant, maybe it's something at a subconscious level, maybe you don't want to change because you're afraid of changing and think that he/she won't like you anymore.

That's so normal :) It happened to me once. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, I couldn't do anything except daydreaming. Oh and smiling so big. I think people seeing me smiling that big thought I was smiling at them and that I was a freak.
