in most cases someone is froze and other players do that sometimes it helps..but not always...sometimes its done because they think person is stalling of talking with partner.
above answer is also correct. in real meanings.

That should be fairly obvious, but I can explain it.

Clearing the score returns all scores to zero.

Skip hand redeals the hand and nullifies any points that were taken that round.

I have never been in a situation where an undo was allowed but it lets the person recall the card that they played.

As far as I can tell, the "skip hand" and "clear score" buttons in Yahoo! Games don't actually do anything, except tell your opponents that you asked to skip a hand or clear the score.
