You can download mp3s for free from sites like http://www.phazemp3.com . And then just upload them to your MP3 player. I am sure you know how to do that.

I know excatly what you mean. Please! follow these instructions, note: the ">" symbol means next step, next,etc.:
go to your search engine > type music file name or artist > find the exact one > listen to music > go to top of your media page > file > save as > save as whatever you like > close internet > go to media player > file > open > find your file that you saved > open > go to your play list > right click file name > sychronize to mp3 > plug usb cord to mp3 & pc > then schronchinyze > let files tranfer complete > unplug usb from both objects > listen.
