If you can stand it, wait another year or so. The ZX14 could use some redesigning (IMHO). It's always iffy to buy any vehicle its first year out - they always discover flaws which they improve the next year.

There are those who say the busa is in need of a redesign, but I say they are full of crap! The busa is beautiful; how do you improve on perfection?

So if you can't wait, which to choose? Hmmm....on the one hand, there are a lot of busa's out there and not as many 14's. So with a 14, at least you'd stand out more. On the other hand, they make some truly beautiful busa color schemes. I'm partial to the red/black for this year. The white limited edition looked good in the magazine, but was disappointing in person.

I can't tell you which is the better bike mechanically. But there are tons of articles out there now; I'd check into those. Keep in mind that most of these reviews are done by pros, and some of the things they ***** about aren't noticeable to the average person.

Are you a first time rider? If you are, becareful thats a lot of bike for a beginner. I would with the busa, they been out for a while, and are better known. The ZX-14 still a little new. But neither one have great handling for leaning.

in my opinion I say the 2000 Kaw ZX-12r. You tutor me a bike on the broking which you will placed a ability commander on and a muzzy finished titanium race exhaust on and flow 212 mph. delusion? NO! I did it on mine. The hayabusa has greater low end torque besides the undeniable fact that it remains in the back of the zx 12, zx 14, gsxr one thousand, zx 10, and the r a million. So do no longer take what the busa boy are givin. KAW BOY for existence!!!!!!!!!! ( hint: seem for the sole bike that has 220 mph on the inventory guages!)

The ZX-14 is "supposed" to be faster... but who the hell needs to go that fast anyway??? Get a Vulcan and enjoy the ride!
