I'm sure many citizens would say, "I have done nothing wrong. So I have nothing to fear." Any book they check out from the library, any telephone conversation had, or any simple conversation on the street watched by cameras. Even though the average citizen has done nothing wrong. But even a hint or suspicion will bring more survelliance. Disbelieve? Please do some research like I have and leave an intelligent comment. ;-) The following is one link but do your own search Patriot Act Big Brother.

I think we are unfotunately coming closer to Mr. Orwells work!! It would seem as though the best of intentions aill come from the patriot act, but what happens when a crime could be prevented on a local level, does the government not have the abiltity to step in and prevent it? This thoery is going to lead to more and more control until every action is monitored in the name of justice and peace. Those who can conform will be welcomed into the New World Order...those who revolt will be underground and problably look something like Dennis Leary in Demolition Man!!

As long as it isn't a tax that can't be cancelled, but it really is a non-issue, it has to be renewed and the people can put an end to it when needed..... at least we hope that we can. I totally support wire tapping Muslims and politicians, and profiling. Those things work....

Big brother is here already in many ways. Just look around and the petty laws that have been passed.

If we ever get rid of terrorist we'll go back to the way things were, maybe. It doesn't hurt though because it makes being a criminal hard. This actually can help with your freedom because it is evidence against someone doing something wrong. Like if someone shoots you dead you can't say who did it, but the camera at a gas pump, checkout line or parking lot can.

As long as the American people put up with the idea the everyone is the same, then they will be treated the same as criminals. The only way for the decent to have a life is to discriminate. By the way the word discrimination was coined to intimidate decent people from protecting their decent way of life.
