The Philly Warriors won aganist the Chicago Stags in the 1947 NBA Finals, the first ever full NBA season.
The Philly Warriors stuffed the Chicago Stags as their star player, Joe Fulks, scored 37 points in Game 1. Fulks cooled down in Game 2, but the Warriors team didn't. Warriors won Game 2. The Warriors TEam Plane actually went into black smoke after one of the players let a cigratte fall on the floor. However, the Warriors still were able to get back to Chicago and won Game 3. The Stags saved themselves from a sweep with a 74-73 win in Game 4. However, the Warriors won Game 5 & won the first ever NBA Championship 4 games to one game.
